We offer call center service to the consumers and referring physicians to access UK HealthCare services. Intermediation is provided to the patients and the medical caregivers through call center to facilitate the appointments and referrals. A conference call can be arranged by our coordinators the attending physician in UK and the community physician so make the admission and transfer process more facilitative. Our coordinators remain on the call to provide any additional assistance.
- We offer facilitation for physician referrals and consults, admissions to the hospitals, transferring from one hospital to other, appointments of the patients and data maintenance.
- The consulting and referral requests which are made online through Patient Referral form are also facilitated to the community physician.
- Physician complaints and concerns are considered keenly with the help of UK physicians Liaison Program.
- PICU and NICU responses, RAMPART and Stroke team notification and Gill Heart Institute cath lab activation, are facilitated.
- UK HealthCare physician requests are handled.
- A detailed and comprehensive database in maintained of internal and external physicians available at Care Web which is password protected.
- The services are provided to the University of Kentucky, Northern Kentucky University and Morehead State University after-hours, weekend and on holidays for the Worker’s Compensation Program.
Our Health Connection
The Medical Billing Health Connection provides callers easy access to The Medical Billing HealthCare to make appointments, find a physician or health care services, procedures, screenings, class registrations and to get The Medical Billing HealthCare literature.
- Timings for the Staff are 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. On Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
- The detail history of the patients is handled in terms of patient appointments, class registrations and health screenings.
- Facilitates the advertised health information by fulfilling all the requests in this regard.
- Handles The Medical Billing HealthCare Web site consumer requests including appointment information, referrals, class registrations, medical screenings and health information.
- Assists Markey Cancer Center outpatients who have medical requests and concerns.
This after-hours, weekend and holiday nurse triage service covers calls for pediatricians at The Medical Billing HealthCare and several contracted community pediatric physician groups in the Bluegrass Region.
- Staffed 5 p.m. – 8 a.m. Monday - Friday; 24 hour coverage on weekends and holidays.
- Through the Barton Schmitt, MD, clinical proven algorithm protocols, trained registered nurses are at your service on telephone to advice you.
- Primary care physicians of the pediatric patients are faxed with the transactions which are recorded in the database as a result of triaged call.
